In fourth grade, students learn about several artists or art genres that are from, our state, Pennsylvania. The artist who inspired our work, pictured above, was Keith Haring. Haring was an activist and an artist who had a tremendous impact and legacy. His art was inspired by graffiti, pop art, and hip-hop. He loved the breakdancing scene in New York, during the 80's; thus came his famous 'Action Figure' drawings! Here are works of art from fourth and fifth grade, remote learners. As well as, artworks from Mrs. Snyder's fourth grade class.
Do you love Haring's work of art? Do want to create more work inspired by Haring: Try these activities!
