At Andrew G. Curtin, we are off to a fantastic start. Last week, students created their portfolios, where they will keep their collection of artworks that are completed throughout the year. They did so well during the first week of classes that I couldn't resist to get out the paint! Art teacher and blogger, Cassie Stephens' sketchbook lesson was my inspiration for this project, in which students are turning recycled manilla folders into sketchbooks! Finished works of arts are to follow!
